Boy two days in a row riding outside in December - I'm feeling very blessed at the moment. Today's ride covered a lot of same roads I traveled yesterday but it was a bit chilly today not what the weatherman had promised on the news this morning. I fought a strong headwind on and off through most of the ride and seemed to zap my strength. Today I logged 25 miles and only averaged 15.3 mph - a lot slower than yesterday. I was just glad to get off the trainer and ride outside so I'm not going to complain. Did anyone else ride today?

I did! I did! But, hey, we've been stuck indoors for almost a month so I'm jumping up and down. If it hasn't been snowing, the roads were covered or we've been sick...grrrr.

But, we've had enough days that the roads are passable (about 80% of their width). Today we had mid-30's so DH and I played hookey this afternoon and got in a ride. Not long, but a nice easy 17 miles. So much nicer than the trainer.

Had a cold and then it rained the past two AM's
Not much to report- realy damp and dark. missed a turn and had to take a detour to avoid construction on a rail-trail.

It was a beautiful day for a mountain bike ride! It was 52 outside and sunny. There are still some snowy spots, but not muddy, so it was smooth riding for the most part. Since I haven't been on the bike for a bit of time, it felt very difficult, but so worth being outside. I was so happy from the ride and then when I came home these beautiful cranes were in the field next door. The pefect end to a great afternoon!:D

I rode for the second time this week after not being on the bike in over a month. Snow, ice, and cold temps have kept me house-bound. Being able to ride 28 miles today was a gift in itself. Temps was around 35 with little wind.
