you're forgiven for chewing up my good shoes, I didn't need them. And peeing on the floor, poor puppy, I wasn't here to let you out... Want a biscuit? :p

That's a good summation.
The last situation like that in my house was along the lines of "I should have put those shoes away, you're just doing what you do"

Oh that pic is beautiful.
I use to have a Beagle. When I had her mated she had been the runt of the litter so I had to have her mated with an American Beagle, I even remember his name "Washington Post" aka Smartie, now that was 30 years ago!
Your lovely pic reminds me of my Beagles.
Thanks for sharing.

My Chloe has that look mastered. She adds crossed paws to the look (like she's praying for forgiveness).
My Chloe has that look mastered.
Let's see it!

Made my day - we had a Beagle named Schroeder and he looked exactly like that when he was a puppy! Used to sleep at my feet under the covers - great memory! Bestest dog ever.
Used a similar look all his life and got away with murder:) .

That is one of the cutest puppy pictures I have ever seen!
I sent it to a woman at work who is owned by a beagle, and she loved it. She also said it reminded her of Puss in Boots on Shrek. I am assuming Shrek 2, because I saw the original and don't remember PIB.
Thanks for posting the darling shot, zen!
Emily
This one. I have this picture on hand to use in emails when I really need to beg for a favour... ;)
I've only used it once so far, but dang it worked.
