MTBR reviewed here (http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/XC_Hardtail/product_123461.shtml).
This little bike has been my pride and joy for the last two-and-a-half years. With Deore rear derailleur, Alivio front derailleur and integrated brake/shift levers, plus Manitou Six Diva fork, she is well-equipped for the novice who needs a bike that will ride as readily on intermediate singletrack as it will on the asphalt of downtown Portland. She also has braze-ons for rack attachment in the rear if you are so inclined. Otherwise, she's also ready for disc brake attachment. Very versatile. At this point I should also mention she has a rather customized paintjob, a matte black with scratch-art style baby blue tiger stripes. I did this myself to both customize the bike, but also to put my own, personal artist's touch on the frame. PM me for pictures.
I'm selling her for $300 because I recently had a full $300 rebuild done at the Bike Gallery, and on asking if there was anything they could do to extend it, they said the frame itself was just too small for me... So I would like to pass her on to another Sister of the Muddy Spokes. The rebuild included all-new cables and adjustment, wheel true, new brakepads and bottom bracket. There is very little wear on the cassette or chainring; she shifts as crisply as she did when she was new from the shop. She also has brand new grips, and I'll throw in the fenders as well. (It IS Portland...) She'll make a nice rain-and-snow bike if nothing else, and is compact enough to be easily hung on the hooks on the MAX.
