Yesterday, I'm on my trainer, look down at the front tire...and all I see is the left side of the wheel.

No problem, my left eye is dominant. So I close my left eye.

Now, all I see is the top of the tire through my right eye::confused: :( eek:

My spine and shoulders have migrated into a curve nearly two inches to the left.

Visit to chiropractor and now I'm nearly straight...and more comfortable too!:D

Anyone else have this experience?

That happened to me too! But I assumed that I had either clamped the bike in incorrectly and it must surely be leaning or that the front wheel was out of true to an alarming degree. I hopped off and determined that the front wheel spun just as it should and that the bike was indeed clamped in correctly. I just assumed that the effect was just some sort of optical illusion (having recently done some reading in philosophy of the "senses can be deceiving" variety this seemed reasonable...). This means there is something wrong with me now?!

lph: Thanks:eek:  ;)

mimi: You're right:rolleyes:

laurael: Yep...spinal misalignment...better visit the chiropractor...I also bet your shoes are wearing inconsistently on the bottom.

I have chronic back issues, but a two inch curve...I've never been that far out of whack!

Does this mean that you are unbalanced?

Alternative to a chiropractor is an osteopath. After I had a very bad experience with a chiropractor, I went to an osteopath who helped correct spinal/pelvis/neck issues [disclaimer---NO OFFENSE to anyone who uses a chiropractor, as I know there are good ones. Just wanted to offer the alternative]

And Yoga - try the Yoga for cyclists DVD. I think I found it on Terry Cycling. Am at the office, so can't look where i bought it. Maybe get your back "fixed" then do the yoga for maintenance.

must go back to report reviews. Would someone 'splane me why they send things out on friday morning and want the review on wednesday????
