So, anyone want to be a tour guide? I don't have exact dates yet but it looks like I'll be in Seattle the first 2 weeks of November. I have a new job and they are training me there. DH is freaking out a little since he'll have to handle the pets, kids, house, errands, etc. but I'm thinking vacation! Even though I'll have to work/train I'll have tons more free time than I do at home. :D I just wish it was summer so I'd have more daylight to ride in.

Naturally I'm bringing my bike and I already ordered a bike map of Seattle but I'd love to meet some TE ladies if anyone's willing. Hopefully I'll have dates soon!

Lora, we'd love to meet you; but November is not the best time of year to plan rides. If the weather is like today; no one's going to be much interested, but then again, it was beautiful saturday.
bring your rain gear! where are you going to be staying?

I just thought of something. The bike club i belong to has rides almost every weekend day. Keep in touch, I'll let you know what we're doing while you are here.

I'll be out of town on the weekends but maybe on a monday. Depending, of course, on the weather. What hours will you be training? And whereabouts?

I'm sure you will love Seattle, I only hope the weather behaves :D

I don't have dates or where I'm staying yet. I was just told I would be spending 2 weeks in Seattle for training probably the first part of Nov. I hope they tell me more soon! I figured the weather might not cooperate but if I don't bring the bike and it's nice out that would suck.

Looks like I'll be up there Nov 5th - 18th. I'll probably come home for the weekend and don't have a "schedule" yet but it'd be fun to meet some of you ladies!

Trek420 might be up here for part of that time, too!

I'll keep my eyes on this post. I would love to meet and ride with you. So if the weather is good and my schedule is clear I will try to make it!

My training will be at the Ballard store. I still don't know where I'm staying but I would guess somewhere near there. Ah, I wish they would send me an itinerary and let me know what's going on!

So much for my trip. I hadn't received an itinerary or info on the hotel so I called and found out I'm not going. The company won't approve the hotel. How pathetic is that?!? So now they're going to have the newly trained gal that hasn't held a class yet at the new store train me. Yeah, great idea. So I've been killing myself cleaning house, arranging daycare, changing bus schedules, making freezer meals, and tons of other stuff to ensure my family would be in good shape while I'm gone for nothing. I could scream!

Sorry I won't get to meet any of you yet. Hopefully I can take a trip up there soon.

That's too bad! Or maybe, one of these days, the Seattle contingent should take a field trip out there. I hear it is dry there?

Yep, there is a part of Washington that is dry. :p The wine keeps us from getting parched though. It would be great to get a visit from the wet folk. LOL!
