My front brake pads were just about dead after my last double. The roads were so gritty from the rain. I'm discovering that bike maintenance really isn't that hard.

just dirty at times...

and not so bad until you come to a frozen bolt...

Brakes are good. If you're not sure what you should be doing with the one you can just look at the other. Having more than one bike is also useful in this way. ;)

It's the constant adjusting to get them just perfect that drives me nuts. I don't have that much patience.

Thank you! Just one more justification for my having 4 bikes. I'm going to add it to the list:D
