You gotta be in some amazing shape to do this I think.

I especially enjoyed watching them run the stairs in their bike shoes no less, and then leap back onto their bikes.

There are 300+ photos of this event on our website. Some with more mud than showing here. :p

I want to try that SOOOO BAAADDD but the only cyclocross group I found here was all guys - and guys that compete. Now - while guys don't scare me - guys that compete in a sport I have never even tried does. I wrote to their website and their response was I was welcome to join them but they ride fast. OK...my question was where can I go to Learn how to do this not how fast do you ride!!! hahahaha - ahh well - I'll keep trying........I WILL do this on of these days!

I have done a few cyclocross races (on my mountain bike). It really is hard! That "dismount, pick up bike, run, drop bike, remount and ride" skill is not easy! I was never in the right gear to start riding again! I prefer regular mountain bike cross country racing, but you've got to try everything once, right?;)

Nice picture as always!

Just got back from a round of the cyclo-cross world cup in Belgium and it was fantastic. :)

The course was very twisty and doubled back on itself with a couple of hills, and from the top you could see the riders about 5 times. This was my first experience of watching cyclo-cross and it was very exciting.

BUT... on this occasion I am more than happy to just spectate. It looks soooooo hard and I know I'd get in such a mess with the dismount/ re-mount thing.

Road riding is great, mtb is great, but cyclo-cross? Think I'll just carry on cheering others and enjoying the Belgium beer.:p :)
