I love weekends that have no plans. We get to lounge around and drink the whole pot of coffee and eat a more interesting breakfast.

Today - homemade Belgian waffles with real maple syrup and I added some crunchy peanut butter to the top of mine.

We're out of coffee. I gotta go down to Peets and get some, and probably will get a ham and cheese croissant for the PP.

Oh my gawd!!! You actually ran out of coffee! We desperately try to avoid that situation in my house. :p

Turns out there was some backup coffee after all. Now we're swimming in it! :D An early morning scooter ride to Peets is always fun, though!

Belgian waffles did sound good. I can't scooter to Antioch yet.

I love sunday morning too! We had a boring breakfast though. Dh had oatmeal and a banana and I had an egg on whole wheat toasted english muffin and some green food juice. Ohhh exciting. Now I am ready for a bike ride though. Have lot's of energy now! I should have topped it with peaut butter too.
And it is a crime to run out of coffee in our house too!

Had oatmeal, slice of toast and 1/2 banana, plus juice. Since GF had heart palpitations - WE'RE not drinking coffee, so I only get coffee at work.

Sliced polenta fried in Pam, topped with plain yogurt, sliced white peaches and fresh blueberries. And a gallon of coffee.

Chloe gets to lick the plate, she loves yogurt.

On Sunday mornings at my college (it's actually where I live) we have a long run and then we get together to cook breakfast. Last week I made French toast, this week a guy made pancakes. People contribute whatever they have on hand, some cold cuts, cheese, apples from our orchard or blackberries from the trailside. It's a lot of fun, and those who don't run are tempted to start running so that they can get breakfast. :)

Gosh I am lucky I don't drink coffee, I have seen many people get all frustrated and upset when they don't have their morning coffee. I am sure this doesn't happen to you V. Many of my co-workers and friends need their morning fix of coffee. Me, I usuallly drink water. My breakfasts tend to be boring as I don't like to eat too much in the morining as it makes me feel sluggish. I usually go for ceral and mile or oatmeal. Pretty exciting .haha

Every Saturday AND Sunday morning DH and I bike down into town to have breakfast at Ralph's Pretty Good Cafe before going on our bike ride if the weather permits.
This morning I had scrambled eggs, bacon, and croissant, with a triple shot espresso giant skim latte. (the cup is so big it's more like a bowl) :p :p :p

hot oolong tea, oatmeal, peanut butter on honey wheat, low-fat yogurt

It was very satisfying. :p It also provided energy for a 40-min ride and a 30-min walk.

We had homemade whole-wheat pancakes with (frozen, but heated) organic raspberries, organic maple syrup, and walnuts. And coffee, of course!

YUM!

I guess those heavy duty antibiotics are still messing with my head. After that IV it seems like I can't remember or think correctly, and even spell right!!:D
