You've had some interruptions lately with the injuries, but you are doing a super job with continuing to work out. The exercise will help you feel like an athlete instead of a "patient". Keep at it each day.
Best wishes. Barb

Hooray!
You and SKnot are the same age, but frankly my dear, I think you are "older."
How grand that you are riding a trainer, and that the epilepsy meds are doing ok so far. Great!

Can you have someone take the trainer outside? I've done that with my spin bike.....(before we took it upstairs).
Does this mean that your bike is in good shape? I hope so. Mr. is considering getting a trainer....which one did you get?
Also, I had another question for you.......who had you been riding with? a group of cyclists your age?

I've been using a loaner bike actually, mines going to be ridable hopefully.. but its not nearly as pretty as before, oh well...
I got a minoura 850 mag trainer, I like it alot. But its the only one i have ever used so i dont really know how its compared to others..
I was riding with a group but not my age, no one my age really cares about riding that i know of around here. A friend of my sisters set up the group, hes the one whos really taught me alot about cycling...

I was curious because we are trying to get Silverson interested in cycling. Is the group that you ride with older teens or young 20's? Do others in your family ride?

Another vote for dragging the trainer outside if you can. :)
Check out clubs in your area, silver. They may or may not be your and the Mr's thing, but some of them do run youth programmes, especially clubs geared more toward racing.

Silver, FYI, we belong to a riding club, which while mostly adults, offers family memberships, and kids do come out, especially on flatter rides and on tandems. Usually parents call each other and plan a day when they will all bring their kids so the kids will have peers around, and then they'll ride in a group of families.
I do believe they have groups for young men interested in racing (juniors they are called) so you could also call your local 'pro-shop' to see if such a program might suit silverson.
