That is the coolest thing I've ever seen! So simple and romantic, especially the vows they wrote.

Loved the 'wedding' tandem with the flower baskets! And she looked very elegant in her dress without being too 'done-up'.

What a great start for a marriage!

Aww, that's so cute. I'd like to have a wedding like that someday. I just need to find a groom. :D

That is so awesome. I am not an emotional chick but I got all goose bumpy and excited, screaming silently in my head, "I can do that! I love those vows"

My man and I just celebrated a year together. We met two and a half years ago when I bought a bike from him at his bike shop. Just the other day, he asked me, "when we get married, can we do it for cheap so we can spend the rest on a honeymoon in France riding bikes?" (guess that means he thinks I'm worth marrying!)

We have talked about incorporating the bicycling aspect of our lives (who am I kidding - it's our whole life practically!) into a wedding, those rickshaws are fabulous!

VERY cool! Thanks so much for sharing. I LOVE the bike parade, the cake is soooo beautiful, your dress is gorgeous, and all the candid photos are simply amazing! I love candids!
What a wonderful day it must've been!
Congrats on your marriage!

oh dear, it's not mine! i love it, but it's not mine, it's from a wedding site I frequent since I got engaged, and once I saw it I just KNEW that I had to post it here. The best part? Apparently the restaurant where the reception took place is somewhere in Chicago and it's owned by a bicyle group and it's called the Handlebar. Just awesome.

This lady gets major thumbs up. +++

That's exactly what Dh and I did. Tiny wedding last March with only 7 people, including us. Three weeks in Europe in July, with 9 days of touring France (Provence) alone on bikes. Sigh....

Hope you get to do that too!!

It is totally worth it to do a small wedding. Save your cash, then throw a nice big party in summer (no dress, so you can dance without worrying) - a big bbq, with a band or whatever - much cheaper than a wedding.

We had ten people, all family, in the middle of a snowstorm, at home, in front of the fireplace. It was sweet.

;)

And considering most couples are spending anywhere from 5-35K on weddings these days, that kinda cash can buy a whole lotta road in France.
