OY!! How am I going to get my kids today? I was reaching in the freezer to grab out my turkey burger and wrenched my back! YOW!! :(
I have a bad lower back that gives out every once in awhile. It did it once when I sneezed. Not even a hard sneeze, just your average haa chooo...
But now I have to figure out how to get my kiddos from school... OY!
Stupid stinkin back of mine!!!

They have to go back again tomorrow anyway, just leave 'em there ;)
Is there a RunningDaddy?

Backs are delicate creatures, aren't they?

Running daddy works in Vegas a few days a week.... sigh..:o
I ended up limping up there on the mtn bike. I told the kids that my back went out, so we had to go super slow.
They all looked at me oddly when I explained that I was bending over pulling something out of the freezer..
But being such good kids they circled around me and rode really slow. I love my kids- even the ones that aren't mine. I'm lucky, we have some good kids around here.
And thanks for all the healing vibes. I'm trying to move around as much as possible. It seems to help if I keep moving.
OY! I may be "Iron" but my back is made of cheap tin!

Wow, you are an IronWoman!
The one and only time I had a back injury I looked like the stereotypical cartoon image of an old woman crossing the street (minus the shawl and bun) I could only walk if I was bent over and the only relief I got was laying on the floor with my legs up on a bench :p

So, are the kids making supper?
Pop-tarts for everybody! Yay!

Is it a disc problem?

Can you lie on your stomach to help the disc go back into place?

How about rising up onto your elbows (like a kid watching TV on her tummy on the floor) when lying on the stomach is easy?

I'm gonna plug Robin McKenzie's book again. cuz I just can't help myself. I've seen too many successful disc management stories at this point. "Treat your own back" by Robin McKenzie. http://www.amazon.com/Treat-Your-Back-Robin-McKenzie/dp/0958269238/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-5200113-5684002?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1189570151&sr=8-1

You're my current hero, RM! I have a whiny back, too, and the first time it gave out on me, I couldn't do anything but lie flat for several hours. Even that hurt. I can't imagine having gotten on a bike or even standing up for very long.

Knot, I'm going to check out that book right now.

RM,
sorry about your back. how long do you think you'll be laid up?
