Got these on sale at REI, and am glad I did. I bought XL. Normally I wear an L in other brands. These are "slim fit" like the website says.

And when they say "low rise", oh baby do they ever mean it! Thank goodness my t-shirt and screaming PI Whisper vest covered what needed to be covered!
Nice lightweight outer capri. No crotch gusset, which surprised me, but with shorts underneath I don't think it is too bad. Stretchy fabric. Slippery on my Brooks, but I got used to it pretty quickly. Long capri length, more of a high-water than a knicker. Functional front pockets. Cellphone and Lara bar sized side pockets. Cute little small-of-the-back vent, but with a plumber's butt low rise waist I'm not sure how much good the vent does.
Liner short is not that stretchy. The legs are short. And, inevitably, like all too-short legs on me, they crept up and up and up into a painful wad of misery. Ow. The silicone leg grippers ended up creeping so high that they were chafing my upper thigh dang near my panty line. The chamois is nice and thin and the little clips at the sides to attach the liners to the capris are unnoticeable.
I would be perfectly comfortable wearing these (with different shorts underneath) on a long ride or (with underwear) as normal clothes. I can't remember the UPF, but I do remember it is higher than the SPF of my sunblock. These would be good on a sunny day to protect my frog-belly white legs.
And, plumber's butt and all, they look good!
