a quick hello from italy

hi guys, right now raleighdon is off on a real ride. all is well, here is a photo of me and a friend we were staying with from the other day! we are having a great time, we've seen a lot of castles and have eaten a lot of good food!
see you when we get back! don't worry about my bike garb; we went 7mph on all flat territory. you would not believe how many people ride bikes around here.
grandma, grandpa, preteens, everyone. and people in cars do not harrass, threaten or swear at you. in the picture i am riding my friend's deceased grandmother's bike.
her mother uses it every day to go to work.

What a treat to get this post and picture!!! :) :) :)
I especially like the wire cage "skirt guard" on the back wheel....you see a lot of those on antique bikes and old 1910 bike postcards pictures....
