I read that they aren't going to pursue a ProTour slot for 2008, though. So, that means we probably won't see them in the bigger European races until 2009, right?

If I'm not mistaken, even if they aren't a pro tour team, they could be invited to the larger races (including the TdF) as a "wild card" entry. But I have no clue on how that works.

With the crew Jonathan Vaughters has put together, it looks like the Tour folks would be nuts to not offer Slipstream a wild card spot in 2009. Long time between now and next July, though. Tour of Cali will probably be the first race in which to see what they can do. I can't wait :D
