Anyone have ideas for where on the internet I should post a bike for sale? It is just a townie women's bike (2001 Marin Larkspur) in excellent condition. I really don't want to get into shipping so if any has ideas for bike classified posting in the counties including and surrounding Yolo, I'd appreciate it!
I need to reach that local audience.
Thanks.

Craigslist! That's the first place everyone in Northern California looks for local bikes for sale. There is one for Sacramento (http://sacramento.craigslist.org/bik/) but the original San Francisco Craigslist (http://www.craigslist.org/bik/) gets a lot more traffic.
I'd list in both places. I just bought a used kayak off the SF version, and the seller only lived about half a mile from me in Sac.

Thanks, I've been cruising that site once in a while but wasn't sure how much traffic it really gets. I'm going to give it a whirl.

If you have pics of it on your own site you can post the info with the link on BikeForums.com in the Buy-Sell-Trade forum.

Is this site up and running? I just get generic ISP, hosting, something or other stuff.

Thanks, everyone for both ideas. craigslist worked! I sold my bike last night to the first caller.
Now I just have to sell a slightly used trainer.
1 down, 1 to go.
