Name of this ride has always fascinated me. The T-shirt design I saw years ago was so cute I just couldn't help myself (almost). Unfortunately, I was not able to participate in the ride and acquire the really cute T-shirt. A cute fox was darting across a country lane surrounded by trees and falling leaves. Autumn it screamed visually. And the fox was a little guy with really bushy tail and really cute face, hopping across the street for another mischief adventure. Underneath, it said Foxxy's fall century. How cute can it get then that!! Ane me being ever an optimist, "How befitting on Moi?" I thought. So I was looking forward to see what the design was going to be this season. The registration for the ride is now open.

The design simpy is    BLAH!! The cute fox has been replaced with menacing mean looking one. It conjurs up a different image of "Come here my little red riding hood!" Creepy pedophile looking thing. Well,
I don't know if I want to do that ride. Such disappointment. You can see the design by logging into active.com for online registration. Davis cycling club site didn't have the design.

Thought about it bit more, this design is targeted for the macho guys. The one I'm thinking, the guys would probably have said WTF??! so girly. too gay!
sheesh. I WANTED THAT CUTE FOXY DESIGN!!!

Anyone doing this ride?

Too funny! I wasn't terribly impressed by the T-shirt design either, although I never got a chance to see the old one. Anyway, I am considering this ride for my first century. So I might be there. I want to see how the Tour de Tahoe goes before I register though, because I'm very unsure of my skill and stamina at this point! If we're both there, we'll have to complain about the T-shirts.
