DH came across this in the local independent paper. I know it's on a Sunday and many of you who work full time cherish your Sundays for the chance to get out to your favorite ride. I know it's only 23 miles and that's barely a warm up for many of you.
However, all that being said - it's a great opportunity to commit an act of kindness. I'm using it as a chance to ride with DH who doesn't ride anywhere near as fast or long as me. We'll go, ride, then have a lovely brunch down by the ocean somewhere.
Anyway - I don't know what kind of publicity this event is getting and I wanted to do a small bit to get the word out.

Registration $30.00 on Aug 25 @ Whole Foods
Route: Fort Hancock (Sandy Hook) to 7 Presidents and back. 23 miles.
Timothy Pauxtis died at 10 years old due an inoperable brain tumor. Ride is done in memory of and to raise funds for a Pediatric Neuro Oncology Research Grant at Children's in Philly.
