Then check out Arkel OverDesigns (http://www.panniers.com)!

I recieved my fire-engine red panniers a few days ago and I'm thrilled! They're sturdy, cleverly designed, and best of all...they look great on my bike! The model I got is the T-28. They're made for commuting and light touring.

I've been commuting with a Timbuk2 messenger bag, and while that works very well, it just gets really hot. My commute is only 2 miles one way, but I add extra loops to get in about an hour or so of riding every afternoon on the way home. I'm more likely to do more if I'm more comfortable...so these are the perfect solution!

I also ordered the rain covers (a must here in the Pacific NW) and a shoulder strap that will hook both panniers together back to back.

Here's a few pictures of them loaded up and ready for the days commute...

All the better to see me with!!

I told DH that any other bike I get has to have some kind of red on it so they'll match. He looked at me like I was crazy! LOL!
