I happened to be at the store yesterday and saw a new bicycling magazine, called Road Bike Action. Has anyone else seen this magazine? I picked it up, has 2 articles about women in it. Yep, women in a man's dominating sport magazine. One is Sister Madonna who is, ready, 75 (I think) and does ironman competitions, and the other lady is early 30's. , a leg amputee and competing in ironmans also. I think I may have to subscribe, I've let my subscription the the other biking mag. run out awhile ago. This is like a breath of fresh air.
ps. I am no way affiliated with this magazine or get any endorsements, I was just impressed to see women in it.

I posted a question about favorite cycling magazines about a month ago. This one came up. I went on-line and checked it out. It looked good, though I haven't actually gotten a copy of it. I'm glad to hear from someone who has. I'll keep my eyes peeled for it.
This gives me a reason to go to Borders besides trying to pick up men:p

I picked up a copy a couple weeks ago, and I think I'm going to subscribe. I have gotten REALLY sick of Bicycling Magazine. I've had a love/hate relationship with it. I love to read about cycling, and I have learned a lot from Bicycling. But, I they just can't seem to get it right for women, in my opinion. Or, I should say for THIS woman, anyhow. ;) I find them alternately condescending and offensive, and some of their advertising p!sses me off.
I'm going to subscribe to Road Bike Action, and I'm going to send a letter to them, telling them why, and I'm going to send a copy of the letter to Bicycling, and to some of their main advertisers. If Road Bike Action keeps up the current tone, etc, then they will keep my business.
