Did anyone else feel like crying yesterday, watching Vino slip down that mountain and the GC? Rasmussen and Contador's battle at the top of the second climb was awesome, but all I could think about was whether the Kazahk has it in him to cut some of his time loss over the next few days. :(

Wow... what a stage...

Gutted for Vino... that little wave he gave the camera to say go away, let me suffer this on my own...

And I felt as if I had been gutted as I watched the last climb... how does one attck like that - over and over and over again on a mountain?

I can't even begin to comprehend how much those boys must have hurt - what a fantastic day for Contador... to win as you come to the top and know you can see your own country... what a race... gut-busting, unpredictable, exciting...

I am REALLY enjoying the Tour!!!

Speaking of gutted... just read Julian Dean's journal entry for that Stage 11 where he fell at the last corner just a few humdered metres from the arrivee. He was out on his own (Thor being way behind) so he had the chance of going for , as he put it "just me, myself and I". Reckoned he could have made the podium.
