Recently I became aware of this shelter and thought others would enjoy looking at the site. If you can't have a dog, you could help one. These people keep the dog until it can be adopted, no matter how long it takes! If the dog is unsuitalble for adoption (too old and fragile, too tempramental, etc. then they keep them forever...the "shelter sweethearts".

Arrgh! WHY did you have to show me this?
This girl is adorable

the fee for adoption plus airfare is way out of my league.
I'll find me a dog eventually.

My dogsitter woke to find a kitten in a basket, dropped off outside her home. Sometimes it's hard to be known as "the pet lover lady" in the neighborhood. she has 5 cats already; 3 outside cats and 2 indoors, 4 birds. She says she really can't take another cat but wants to find this one a good home.

This weekend while my dog was there, Mae (my mutt) went over and gave the kitten a big sloppy dog kiss. So potentially good with dogs :)

The kitten is dark gray with white on the neck and chest. Shown here with a phone for scale ;)

PM me if interested.

He reminds me of a cat we got from the Humane Society, who turned out to be such a people lover. Wonderful guy...died in his sleep at age 8 two years ago, I still well up when I look at his toys.
Someone take him please, I'm too far away and have a cat all ready.

I know, s/he's a sweet kitten. ::: Cue sound of tiny violins in the background::: when Mary found it in the basket on her doorstep the kitten was so skinny, obviously very neglected.

S/He's plumped up right away, got a tiny pot belly and turning into a great kitten, cuddly, likes to perch on a shoulder. I just can't have another pet.

She won't take it to the pound as a home is not promised there so we're networking to get a home.

No Fedex shipping for Earl Grey, this cat's for the Bay Area only.

I found some of Rangers fur from when I was trimming his shaggy feet. It will stay where I found it.
