Hey gang! It's a Blue RC4 frame built up with Shimano 105 except for the Shimano compact crankset and short-reach levers. I won the frame on Ebay and had it built by GVH Bikes. They did an amazing job and were awesome to deal with.
I just put the pedals on. Speedplay Light Action. Would you believe it's raining?!?! When it clears up, I'll be off on the inaugural ride!
Oh yeah, and the piano's not half bad either! ;)

Yeah, the Blue brand is not in the ProTour, but it is a high-quality bike. I've heard it's comparable to much more expensive bikes but is cheaper just because it's not so well known. I just fell in love with the looks, and when I saw a used frameset on Ebay, I just had to have it! I'm sure it deserves to have Dura Ace on it, but I just had it built with what I can afford for now. As my skills improve and time goes by, I'm sure there will be some upgrading in its future.
Here's a slightly better picture with the pedals and bottle cages on now. Still raining!!! Grrrr...

Nice build!
The 105 should serve you nicely for a while.
Enjoy the ride.
And, I can never look at a Steinway (okay...a picture of one!) without thinking of the movie, The Pink Panther (...not sure which one). Inspector Clouseau trashed one, and a woman remarks in distress "But that's a priceless Steinway." "Not anymore," he deadpans.

Beautiful Bike and Lots of Luck with it!!!!
If you are ever riding down the Westside HWY on a week day at about a 1:00let me know. I take my lunch hour around Pier 40 and sit and watch the cyclists go by.
I think you will be safe if you get out early today. As usual the rain is suppose to roll in at the time I leave and and get home. I think the weekend is looking up so hopefully you can get in some nice rides then also.

Hi all... So I did take it out yesterday and this morning. This is my first time riding a drop-bar and also the first time on clipless pedals. Lastnight I was a bit uncomfortable, but then I made some adjustments and this morning was much better. I think the bike is going to be a great fit! It handles marvelously!
On a sadder note, I had my first dumb clipless tip over incident this morning. It was actually when I was starting up again after being stopped. I guess I didn't get enough momentum, and for some reason just tipped over on my right side. Luckily only a minor scrape on my elbow and nothing happened to the bike! Phew! I hope that doesn't happen too often. I felt like an idiot! A passerby asked, "How did that even HAPPEN???" :o
Your lady blue looks like a winner. Have fun whizzing around on your new bike. The steinway may be a bit jealous, but I'm sure she will adjust.

Congrats rij!
Very purty in blue, and no worries about your clip-spill... just seals your partnership with each other!
Glad you finally got out after all that rain and so pleased to hear the bike is a great fit!

Thanks everyone! :D
I rode 20 miles yesterday and 20 miles today, so I feel like I've gotten comfortable with the bike. Can't believe what a great fit it is! I have no pain whatsoever.
Tomorrow, DH, our dog Hudson, and I are going to the Catskills on vacation. The bikes are coming, so there will be plenty of time to do nothing but ride and get some hill practice! Send happy thoughts my way, and I'll report back next week!
