We were doing some rearranging of furniture this weekend to make room for some artwork. We briefly contemplated putting Fluffy in the garage. Thom shot down that idea with the comment, "It's the most used vehicle we owned."

so you put the artwork in the garage?

No, it's a vase that I wanted to leave on a Shaker side table that we built out of cherry a few years ago. it really needs to get a lot of light to look its best, so for now it's on a windowsill.

It was replaced by a 12 x 53 inch photo of Akaka Falls in Hawaii that Thom took last June. The photo is too long to have the vase in front of it, but is perfect for the wall we put it on. The vase was made by a guy who lives in the town of Volcano on the Big Island, so I would have liked to have kept them near each other as kind of a theme thing.
