Oooooooh, Vino!!! I'd hate to be on the Astana team tonight, he's gotta be pissed and could be unbearable to be around after today's events. Poor guy.
I'd bet anything, though, that he's gonna fight his way back up the GC.

i felt bad for Vino.
though i AM glad that Georgie got 6th in the stage, 5th in the GC, and Vino also lost about a minute in his GC time.

It's just a setback.
Did you see how he powered all the way back? It's not over till Paris!
That last descent was really tricky with both Popo and Cancellara overshooting the bend. Nice bike handling to stay upright tho'.
Btw, gorgeous countryside today.

Ugh. I've said this every day so far: I can't wait to get home and watch Versus!!!! This live text/audio coverage is just too much of a tease.

Me too!!!! I put up Bicycling.com on my computer at work and they have constant text coverage. The phone rings, people talking around me and I am getting all antsy and trying very hard to reserve myself. lol
Anyway, it sounds like this was the most exciting stage so far. I also cannot wait to get home to watch it, after a ride of course. I think I am actually clear from thunderstorms tonight. :)

Any word on Kloeden? Will he have to withdraw? I can't imagine sitting in the saddle with a broken coccyx (did I spell that correctly?)

But, but....what about Erik Zabel back in the green sprinter jersey? He may not be fast anymore, but the old man still has something buried in there.
Of course, all money was on Astana and now they've been given two black clouds....That was one heck of a bruise on Vino's leg and the first real mountain stage ?Saturday? Oooophh.

Hey! I was trying to keep it polite :o :o It is the bend-y part, well, sort of if you stretch the definition further than the remaining fabric in his short could stretch

Oh. my. gosh. I was grimacing along with Vino, watching him pedal with that huge hematoma on his hip (there you go, ladies). The guy is amazingly strong, physically and in will. I can't wait to see how he does tomorrow.
I think this Tour is gonna make me wear out the phrase "I can't wait..."

Actually ( says she who studied the matter in detail and live-as-it-happened); he had scrapes on *both* knees as well as the injury which has been discussed so politely.
It will hurt *today*

Phil was suggesting todau that Vino should audtion for a role in "the Invisible man" due to how many banadages he has one (I overslept and got to watch more of tour than I thought i would:o ) It hurt even to look at him:eek:
