Did you look at the ingredients?

The first ingredient is water, followed by fruit juices.
No, I don't have any experience with this product but for a recovery drink, I'll stick with chocolate milk.
And real food.

It does offer a trial for $6.00 S&H.

I have not used it in conjuction with cycling, but I did try it a few years back. My workouts then were predominantly weight training, running and high intensity aerobics.

I did the free trial back then too. Honestly, I couldn't stomach it enough to take it as regularly as I should have. I think it's kind of gross, but I do know a few people who liked it. As far as benefits? Nothing of note.

If you like the taste of it, it's probably a nice addition to your normal intake...but as far as recovery drink? It's hard to remember, but I don't think it's got enough protien (or any?) to be effective (at least, not for my body).

I do agree with zencentury, stick with real food. Don't we want to do something god for our health? All this sport drinks they contain artificial sugars, why does anybody want to spend money for bad food. Read the ingredients and this should tell enough...

Take care of your health

I have not tried the recovery drink but have come up with a formula to immitate the energy supplement (a friend recommended the FRS system and because of the cost {2 cyclist in the household so everything is X 2} I did a little research and came up with this)

The main ingredients are Quercetin and Green Tea Catechins so I went to our local herb/supplement online tool

http://www.greenlifegrocery.com/common/adam/index.asp?storeID=7JQJSEQX5CS92J2000AKHMCCQJJ46TA3

and researched the Quercetin. Found a good deal online (I chose the combo with Bromelain for its anti-inflamitory benefits)

http://www.swansonvitamins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=10051&SourceCode=INTL097&productId=12831&R=15343

Make jugs of green tea (cause it has the Catechins AND it is good for us) and simply take the supplements with a glass or two of tea...

voila...you have the benefits without the cost of extra nonessential "stuff"

Now...don't tell anyone!!!

***I am not a doctor nor a trained dietician...just a herb/supplement geek who likes to save money! Besides this and a daily vitamin my regimin consists only of a Glucosamine & Chondroiton combo. OH...and I LOVE my chocolate milk too!!!!
