I just bought some new tires over the web, Continental Grand
Prix 3000's. The question is whether or not I put them on correctly, as far as in the proper direction. There were no instructions, and the label is the same on both sides. So I used the picture on the web site: http://www.conti-online.com/generator/www/de/en/continental/bicycle/themes/tires/race/grand_prix_3000/grand_prix_3000_en.html
figuring that those tires are positioned to roll forward (toward the left). Any thoughts on the subject? I won't even get to try them out until Monday or Tues.

Road tires don't have a direction since they pretty much have no tread. Nice tires!

Hi Fasteryet

My BF has these tyres on the bike he rode at Paris-Roubaix in northern France and he's got them on the same way as you, ie towards the left.

He wrote an article about his experiences in France for cyclingnews.com.
It's here if you're interested http://www.cyclingnews.com/features.php?id=features/2004/roubaix_cyclo

Thanks :) I guess I didn't want to brag. My BF has done several articles for cyclingnews.com this year, including one about the Gran Fondo Pinarello which included a tour round the factory in Treviso, Italy.

He also rode the Giant Tour in Germany in June and lived like a pro for a week. It was an amazing experience which they put on the website in a series of diary entries.
