Thanks for the kind words. We had two photographers there, Elaine covered the start/finish and Fillmore St., while I covered Taylor St and North Beach.

Its a great race thats for sure. Less than half of the riders finish.

Great photos indeed!

I think the reason why so many didn't finish was on account of the pretty tight elimination time, so that slower racers wouldn't be lapped on the course.
