I just spent a faaaabulous hour riding in a slow, sweet rain around the neighborhood, then topped it off with a cappuccino at Starbucks. I didn't ride fast or far, but I loved every minute of it and wish I'd had time to keep going.

i decided to a little more climbing than usual, and took a different route. Note to self: be more careful at the 4-way in front of the police station. Espically when it's shift change :o (don't worry, I didn't get a ticket).
Had regular CoFe when I got home. I have remote start coffee machine, sO I usually have a fresh brewed pot waiting for me when I get home:D

I'm just living life vicariously because I'm at work. I feel the need to slightly threadjack here...where and how do you get a remote control coffee machine and how does that work? This might solve a LOT of problems :D

It came from Sears. and it actually more of a "automated start". It has a clock and you can set the time when its starts to perk, like an alarm clock. It also works in normal mode. I think it's a Mr. Coffee(playing hooky too:eek: )
Now if I can get it to get the water and replace the grinds...

Joined the club for its weekly "fruit ride" this evening. I elected to do the 15 mile route and to use it as my recovery ride after tackling a century yesterday. I had a great ride and enjoyed some great watermelon upon returning to the park.

I worked the 4th, evenings, so I was a little slow to get up. Called my friend who was awake but still in bed. Perfect. We met an hour later, went for a 48 mile ride. It was really nice until we reached the top of this hill and looked behind and the clouds were dark blue and consuming the sky. We hussled back for like 12 miles of the ride, and it was hilly. We made it to within minutes of getting poured on. As soon as we reached her house, the winds were whipping, loaded my bike and went home, she (my bike) only got sprinkled on.
