nite ride

Last night I went on a ride in Indy called the nite ride. It was so fun, I did 40 total miles and feel like I could have done 20 more. I was really nervous because I went all by myself, but I found some people I sort of new and they let me ride with them. This was my first big ride with other people. I loved having other people around me, It's very motivating. I want to do it again and again and again. Now if I can only motivate myself to ride by myself a few times a week I'll be on a roll, exuse the pun.

In my books you definitely are not a 'newbie'.........40 miles in one evening.......phew!

Wow, training to participate in The Honolulu Century Ride, a 100 mile endurance event, now that's going some. :eek:

Fair play to you, all being done for an extremely good cause but that's a hell of a ride. When is this taking place?

I find riding in the dark a strange experience but good fun, not that I have done it that often.
