Last year ex-BF built me a Giro 20 from a frame kit and some components that had been given to him. He also built a wheel set for this bike. I'm trying now to decide if I want to keep this bike or sell it. If I decide to sell it how do I go about this either on online or locally? What information do I need to have and how do I arrive at a reasonable selling price (I only paid about 50% of what it would cost if I had purchased it through a LBS)?

Ooooooh, a 'bent for sale.....
Please don't tell me how tall you are and how beautifully the Giro fits. Nor what color it is. Tempt me not! (I had a BikeE, and someday want a *good* 'bent)
If I were selling a bike like that, I'd probably check the going rate on similar stuff at CraigsList and Ebay, get all confused and frustrated, check BentriderOnline and get more confused and frustrated; and then take it to my LBS and ask them to appraise it.
Either that, or decide how much $$ you need for whatever bike you want to buy next, and set that as your selling price. :D
(and post it here first, with pictures, so I can drool a little... pretty please?)

Here is a picture of the bike I'm thinking of selling, just to wet your appetite.

That's a pretty bike! Still don't know how you recumbant riders can maneuver those bikes so well and pedal with your feet out in front. I'm amazed at 'bent riders! I barely do well enough upright. ;)

It's PURPLE!!!! One of my all-time favorite colors!
(and that whole seat slides back, right? So I could easily fit my 5'8" self on that lovely purple Giro)
Uh-oh....
Gorgeous bike!

It is purple and a lovely shade at that. It is a small frame.
