The Dog Days have come to Maryland

Back in April, when I was still wearing knickers and a jacket for my morning commute....it seemed so impossible to fathom hot, sticky morning rides.

But, they're here. Shorts, sleeveless jersey, and sweat rolling down my back before I get out of my neighborhood. 70 degees (21 C) at 6:45 this a.m. and the humidity level was right up there, too. It will be pushing 100 (37 C) this afternoon.

Blech.

Same here and an unhealthy air alert. I am stayinginside the AC right now, but, I may take a short ride later, when the sun is down a bit. Maybe not... all I know is that i would not have ridden my bike to work today if I was working.

That is why I went for a swim instead yesterday. The weekend is looking nice though!
