Thought I'd have a nice cycle up to the local market this afternoon. Just getting ready when...CRASH!!! We're having a thunderstorm - again:mad:
Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
Suppose I'll go and clean the bike instead.

Blech..Rain..
Can you send some to Perth? We need rain for our water catchment areas that are only at about 25% full at the moment.
It rained today in spurts of heavy showers with strong winds. Yukon & I went to the doggie beach and were the only ones around! Goofy doggie enjoyed the surf..
If you surf it would have been an exciting day at the beach!

I mean come on weather, it's nearly July, give us some summer please

I've got a lot of family in and around Perth - many of whom I've never met. My Aunt emigrated to Australia just after WWII. My Mum (since passed away) went out for a couple of months 20 years ago. She didn't want to come back:)

It's a small world!
I think Perth has that affect on people..Ya don't want to leave!
If you need me to pass on a message to anyone, let me know.

I have a cousin who I did meet when we were about 13 or 14 years old (36 years ago). Her name is Christine but I have no idea what her surname is now as I do know she got married. Her maiden name was Neuwen. She had a brother, David. The rest of the family I don't know as it was my late Mum who kept in touch with most of them. My Mum had Alzheimers disease and as the disease progressed she lost touch with just about everyone.
My Mum wanted to emigrate to Australia when we were kids but my Dad didn't want to. I wish we had emigrated. At least the weather would have been better:D

Python -
Page the British rain gods, would'ja? Tell them to hold off the rain the second week of October!! I'm taking a trip over there with my Mom to visit my Nan, whose health is starting to fail at 86 years.
Where's Wiltshire in relation to Basingstoke? We'll be staying there with my Uncle & family, and we'll also be heading east to Southend (Mom's hometown). This will be the first trip to England for me, so I'm really excited to see the sights. Just don't want it to rain the entire time I'm there!!
