New York City Century anyone?

Anyone planning on riding it? It's in early September... DH and I are signing up. 2 months ago I had no idea that a 100 mile ride would sound appealing to me, but go figure! :D

I am thinking that one over, it sounds like fun. Am gradually building the miles, my longest ride has been 75 so I think I could handle the 100. Not sure about the weekend though, I might be out of town. If I do ride it would be nice to meet up with a fellow TE'er!

I did this ride last year. Lots of fun, but crazy crazy crazy riding through midtown in traffic! I rode the 5 Boro Tour a few months ago, so not sure I"m gonna do the Century Bike Tour this year, but I hope you have as much fun as I did!

I wish that I could afford to travel that far for a bike ride. I know that lots of people do destination marathon runs. I've done a couple centurys now, though they're far from being quick... I've never been to the Big Apple, but how awesome would that be to see it by bike?
