Anyone out there seen that daft comedy film Dodgeball with Ben Stiller that just came out?
We were at the cinema watching it on Saturday and half way through who should turn up on screen but LANCE ARMSTRONG!!!! I couldn't believe it! It took a lot of the British non-cycling audience a few minutes to cotton on to who it was and I felt like leaping out of me seat and yelling ' That's Lance Armstrong!'
The lead character, the captain of the Dodgeball team had just quit and was on his way home while his team were just about to go into the competition final, and Lance and him had a five minute chat about not quitting.
Lance said he'd won 5 TdF's even though he'd had brain , lung and testiculer cancer ( which the audience thought was very funny ) and I had to stop myself from yelling out ' No- he really did. He's not joking!' :p
Now - the big question is How come I haven't heard anything about Lance branching into acting?
We normally hear every single move he makes. Guess I must have missed this one.
PS - He put in a pretty good performance. Would we expect anything less.;):p
