Sky blue. Slight dent. Deep discount.
The license plate (when it comes in from DMV)? VSPRADO ("Versparado").

If I didn't have so many freeway miles to contend with, I'd bring her to lunch next week! :p

Dunno yet. Supposedly 65 - 70. My learner's permit doesn't allow me to go on the freeway.... DH will have to test it out.

So you passed the written test. Are you taking the MSF class?

Yes - just not sure when. Probably after Death Ride, when Em's at camp. We'll see. Maybe you should come take it with me.... at the SF class they have loaner scooters.
ETA: I got 100% on the test. You should have seen the panic when I learned I also had to take the written drivers test (car test) because my license is up for renewal this year. I got 100% on that also. I test well.

Washington requires tests for scooters, too. Here, at least, the test is required for anything with an engine bigger than 50 cc. (Little bitty scooters with 49 cc engines don't need a motorcycle endorsement in Washington.)

Well, I made it home! Had to ride across the Golden Gate Bridge and it was very windy. I don't like riding my bike across it. It was fine. I have to get more smooth with acceleration/braking. So many bike ideas/skill tarnsfer well to this.
Em and Mike ar on it right now. I can't carry passengers til I get my "real" license.
The scooter store class on how to ride it was VERY helpful. I have never ridden a scooter or motorcycle before and after 2 hours of class, I feel pretty comfortable.
I think we need licenses here (with tests) for 50 cc as well as larger.

Beautiful! Everytime I see someone go by in a scooter, I want one. Enjoy your sweet new ride!
