Sunglasses needed

I'm having the hardest time finding sunglasses that fit my face. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm specifically looking for glasses with interchangeable lenses that I can use for cycling and everyday wear.

Oakley's - all are too large for my face.
I have a pair of Smith Toasters - they fit my face, but slide down my nose when riding.
Performance - all are too large.

I tried the Nike Counter (http://www.amazon.com/Nike-Counter-Sunglasses-EV0237-070-Graphite/dp/B000EERBSQ/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/104-6030429-4023163?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1181842688&sr=8-1) - which is for narrower faces, and they were too small.

Ladies, I need help! Can any of you suggest something that might work? I'm hitting a dead end and I'm tired of ordering glasses and sending them back, and few stores seem to carry anything other than Oakleys.

we buy the cheapest possible ones because we're always losing them.

Try Tifosi. They work for me, I have a small nose bridge...almost none. The photo sensitive is great if you ride in varying terrain. cost around $50

If your willing to give smiths another try I have the Theory ones. No matter how sweaty my nose gets, they don't slide down. Stay right in place. When I run, they don't bounce around either.

I have a small face too and Tifosi's Gavia line works for me. They're specifically for women/smaller faces. They have various styles available at TE. Here's a link to one of them:

Indysteel and sah- Thanks for the Tifosi recommendation. I think I tried almost every pair except the Gavia line because the one shop in my area that carries them didn't have that kind. Maybe I'll try ordering them online.

Chicwhorips - I haven't tried any other Smith, so maybe I'll try the theories. Thanks for the recommendation!

I've never been "small" anything, so I'm having trouble believing that my face is considered "small"!!!

You also might want to check out Zeal Optics - REI carries them and they have several models that are designed for smaller faces. I love my toasters, and some of the Zeals fit my face comparably.

I'm with mimi... go into your version of the "$2 Shop" and get cheapies...

They're just to reduce glare and stop bugs...

Thats all I use, don't trust myself with expensive glasses :p

I've had them for two years, and I love them. My face is too small for most sunglasses, but these hug my face closely, without sliding around. They STAY PUT! Great for biking, running (which from my experience is difficult to find, due to sweat and bouncing), xc skiing. Very rarely fog up. The nose pieces are integrated so they don't get wound up in my ponytail if I stick them on top of my head, and they don't have the rubber ear socks that my Oakleys had, that would also want to grab onto my hair. My Half Jackets didn't want to sit on my nose, and would pivot up and bounce when I ran.

I don't think they make this model anymore, but I saw them recently on clearance online, and I just looked at Natives today, and they have a new one called Ignition, that seem quite similar (and fit me similarly).

Some people don't do well with cheap sunglasses though. I bought a cheap nice looking pair and wore them on a 3 hour ride last Fall. After an hour I had a splitting headache, took the glasses off and the headache was gone in 5 minutes. Put them back on and headache returned. Off again, and headache immediately disappeared. Finally the lightbulb went on. ;) They had fit my head just fine- it was something about the curved lenses I think....
Now I have some good polarized more expensive sunglasses, and no more headaches while riding.

I always choose cheapies with UV protection... I have sometimes gotten headaches from where the "arms" of the glasses sit and how they press against my temples or how tight they hug the side of your head...

I did have a pair of glasses that were a tight fit between my head and the helmet and I couldn't wear those at all

It took a while, but I finally found a place that carries the Smith Theories and they were perfect! Who would have thought - I found them in a little surf shop in the lakes region in New Hampshire...

Oakley makes an Asian fit version of some of their sunglasses. It's made for small faces and small noses. They might be hard to find though if you want to try some on.
