Cycling near Lake Winnipesauke?

Mr. Sheesh and I are headed to visit relatives on Black Cat Island on Lake Winnipesauke for a week at the end of this month. We're debating whether to bring our bikes. Anyone familiar with the area who can tell me what the riding is like?
