Okay I am buying a bike soon. As in the Morning:) But there are two I am choosing from One is A felt FW4 series. and the other is a Scott speedester s60. Okay I really am putting off buying my new bike because I just cant decide which bike I want.. I was supposed to get the felt last week but then I rode the scott and now I just can't decide!! The felt fw series 4. which is made just for women, so it was so comfortable on the upper body. But yesterday I rode both of them on the same route and the scott seemed so much easier on the legs in the exact same gear... and it was alot easier going up a hill but it just wasn't as comfortable on the upper body.. but that might be because it wasn't exactly my size.. EEKK I dont know I have to put my order in to my LBS by today or tomorrow and I really can't decide. Do any of you have a felt or a scott and have you liked them? what have you found to be the bennifits.. and any other advice you can give Oh Today I talked to my LBS about the felt and it might be a little high for competition riding ( i will be using it for triathlons too) but it comes already with a lot of stuff that I really like that can be added on the scott but it will end up making it cost more than the felt but as is the felt will be 745 and the scott 650.
thanks

I tend to agree that it may have had a lot to do with it not being your size. Did you talk to your LBS about this? Also, there's the possibility of getting the Scott and replacing the handlebars if they think that's a factor with the upper body. I'd talk to someone who seems knowledgable about fitting the right bike to your body and, if you'd like the nice feel the Scott gave your legs, see if they think they can fit you properly on one so that your upper body is comfortable as well. If they don't think a different size will make a difference, then that may help you make your decision.

Just a thought. Good luck with your decision.

I have a Felt F70, and I love her! When I picked her out, I also tried a Scott Speedster and I personally did not like it. It was simply too stiff. When I hit a bump, it felt like my whole body was going to explode, whereas Athena just glided over bumps and holes making me feel all comfy-like! So, I ended up with the Felt. The thing is...both are great bikes. Scott makes some great machines, it just was not my cup of tea.

Good luck making a choice!
