June 8 Rides

I had the day off :D
So went off and did San Dimas Canyon.No camera this time. On my way back I stopped by a LBS, They were having a sale on helmets, and I need to retire some of my fleet,so I bought a LAS Squalo. The only problem was getting it back home. I stopped by CVS next door and got some bungee cords, since my large luggage wasn't large enough, I manage to make it home without a spill

I got to meet PinkBike at South Mountain today. She works nights, so I made her get up early (sorry!:o ). We rode the mountain (she's a strong rider), then she went home to sleep. I rode a closed road in the park, then rode up the mountain again (albeit at a slower pace :D ).

We have a South Mountain near here as well, don't know it I'd want to ride up it though:eek:

I didn't ride today but I did a training ride yesterday. we started out as one large group and ended up as three groups each taking a different route, I was the lone member of my group:D It worked out well, we all ended up at the same place and had pizza which I haven't had in over a year. Good ride, nice roads,about 25 miles.

15 mile dog ride with DH. Had other things on my mind and channeled it to a hammerfest. Felt good to take it out on the pedals. It is getting hot in Texas and I am already counting down to fall!
