Given that I haven't been on my bike much at all this year, I'm thinking of doing the easy LunaChix ride on the Peninsula tomorrow. Anyone else going to be there?:D

Oh! And here I thought maybe you were coming down to ride with me. ;)
Thanks so much for asking about the music stuff! The singing is going really well! Our band hasn't been playing a ton just because everyone has been so busy in their personal lives and their own musical pursuits, but we are looking forward to some gigs in July and August (a coffee shop and a private party). We are adding some cool new stuff... more Norah Jones and a Corinne Bailey Rae song, along with some other neat stuff to augment our current set. I told Blaine that we need to play out in the East bay area sometime so we can get a few more TE gals to come out! :) CindySue came to one of our gigs and it was great to see her!
I've also been doing a lot of singing on my own at church and for weddings, memorial services (those are hard), parties, etc. I work with Blaine on some of it and I work with another guitarist when he needs a vocalist, so I'm keeping pretty busy.
Sure you don't want to drive down here and ride tomorrow???

I would love to ride with you sometime slinke but Im afraid its a stay near home weekend for me. We are heading off on our annual road trip in about a week so I need to get stuff sorted.
Glad to hear the singing is going well. I take my hat off to you for doing memorial services. Yikes I would probably start crying - although if you heard my singing it might make it sound better.:D
It would be great to get a TE gang together for one of your gigs.
Have a great weekend and enjoy your ride.:)

She is a PHENOMENAL singer! I really loved it. I need to go again and enjoy the full evening. I think I am on your distribution list. Keep me posted!
p.s. - nice ride today - beautiful, easy, fun. Missed you - maybe next time :)

You are too kind, Ma'am. :)
It turned out that I had my friend from SF come down with her kids in the early afternoon, so I had to stay close to home as I needed some time to prep (read: clean the house) before they showed up. I really would love to do that ride sometime, tho. Can you give me the route or is it posted somewhere?
How is life out in the boonies?
