It's bad enough out there with idiot drivers, but when you get an idiot cyclist...ho hum!!!
We've got a lot of roundabouts here, and as we drive on the left hand side of the road, the rule is give way to oncoming traffic from your right.
There I was, only about 4 minutes from home. See's the roundabout is clear so I have Right of Way. Spotted a cyclist coming down the road from my left. He looks the business, nice bike, fully decked out in lycra, cycling shoes, helmet, on the drops...totally lost in a world of his own, looking straight ahead:rolleyes:
I thought to myself that he and me were going to collide. Decided since I had Right of Way I wasn't going to slow down (would definitely have hit him - T-boned him) so kept going. He woke up at the last second and swerved round behind me. I shan't say what I yelled at him. Wasn't ladylike:p
I expect cars to do that (they do it all the time whether you're in a car or on the bike) but another cyclist who should know better...Duh!:rolleyes:
