Hello Ladies,
Well it is almost time.My partner and I will be doing our first tri,the MachTenn Sprint on Saturday 6/2!We are both stoked and ready to rock.Looking forward to a great time and seeing the culmination of all our training.I am most proud of my significant other since I had to drag her kicking and screaming onto a bike last year when I got tired of riding alone!!!Now she is so enthusiastic and it has been great to see her self-confidence grow with every training session!!I am the obnoxious one most famous for doing things that start with me saying "Hey Ya'll,Watch This"!!I am so grateful that I found this forum, just reading the posts and seeing everyone being so supportive and helpful has been great!!Wish us luck,it's gonna be a blast!!:D :D

Good luck to the both of you!

The training is most of the fun. That's great that you have watched her grow throughout the process of getting to your first tri.

3 years ago, I use to take my boyfriend running. He would slog along and barely keep up, huffing and puffing like he was about to die. Then 2 weeks ago he completed a 9 mile run with a 9 minute mile. Along with that... he taught himself to swim to compete in tri's and he use to barely ride 10 miles and now he can ride 65 miles with a 17 mph average. So... I understand getting the joy of watching someone grow into being an athlete.

Have a great race and feel free to come back with a race report.
