It was great meeting you guys today and riding with you the first part of the Horsey Hundred. The hills the first 40 miles were killers but the scenery was wonderful from start to finish. I love Kentucky! I hope you guys will venture down this way again for the Old Kentucky Home Tour (it too has its fair share of hills but the scenery is equally as beautiful). Sorry I did not stick around after the ride but I needed to get home to take care of my dogs (they greeted me with crossed legs :eek: ) Silver, thank you for the lovely necklace. I can't wait to wear it and have people ask me where I got it. I can simply answer a wonderful lady I rode the Horsey with gave it to me.

And it was so very nice to meet you too!!!!!! It was a beautiful day for a beautiful ride!!!!! No worries about not waiting. We wouldn't have expected you to do that. There's no telling how long you would have been waiting anyway with how I was dragging my backside all day! :D

He uses Prepetuem (during the ride) and Heed (recovery drink). Both are made by Hammer.

Thanks. Have fun in Georgetown on Day 2. We did sneak in a shower before the three hour drive home and slept like babies last night.

Maybe we'll see you in Bardstown!

Last night was the first night I had a good, solid sleep all week and it was wonderful! I'm sure I'll sleep equally as well tonight after the 71 mile route today.

If you guys come down for the OKHT please let me know - it makes for a fun filled weekend. We have some wonderful hills between Louisville and Bardstown as well.

"Wonderful Hills"...aha, now I have a good example of an oxymoron!:D

Congrats on the additional 71 miles. What a cycling weekend!

Mr. Silver I've told by several riders that "hills are our friends." Now, given my dislike of hills I do not feel all that friendly toward them. However, in the spirit of southern hospitality our hills are wonderful and welcome all to climb them :) So come September venture down and tackle Lilly Pike (SAG is at the top) or Pottershop Hill.
