Ride of Silence, MI

I wasn't able to make it myself, but I heard from lots of people about it tonight:

40 people showed up. They rode 2 abreast with a police escort--in a car and on bikes! The police even blocked every major intersection for the cyclists. Everyone said it was very somber, just like a funeral procession. Lots of people were touched. I really hope I can make it next year.

the Phoenix Ride of Silence staged in Scottsdale, we had 13 riders, kinda sad - we need to get the word out better for next year, it was indeed a somber ride tho. met some interesting people, one is the bicycle advocate of some kind for the city of scottsdale.

We had more than 200 people show up on bikes. It was very moving. My boyfriend and I led one of the groups to downtown as we had three starting locations. We even made the news. It was very nice.
