Family ride, metric century, 112 mile century...

Anyone coming over for this? I'm going to do the metric for a training ride, and I would love to say hello to any TE folks who show up!

Oh darn, I won't be able to make it Starfish. But it sounds like it will be a lot of fun. And the scenery up your way is gorgeous! Take pictures! :)

Check out the gallery on the ride website...you can see how pretty the ride is. Also, the nice thing is, they also post the whole route on the website, so you could come up and do the ride any time! (Actually you could do it when the weather will be good! LOL)

I just came back from your gallery page and my goodness Starfish you live in a beautiful part of the country. I'm jealous. The Olympic Winery, the elk, the farmhouses with sprawling meadows, the water! You have a little bit of everything! I definitely will have to take a trip to this heaven on earth this summer. My last day of work is Friday, June 22nd (I have summers off because I'm one of the lucky people who works in a school. I'm a library media assisstant and our middle school's computer tech) I'm debating whether to go during a weekday (without hubby . . . yea, he has a regular job) or wait until the weekend and take him along too. I know he would also love to do a ride over there. We could make a day of it. Something to definitely plan and look forward to.

Sadly I don't think I'm ready even for the 30 mile course, but next year I am soooo there! What a gorgeous area!

I wish I could be there to try the 30! My parents live up at the top of Monroe Rd. I think Roosevelt Middle School is at the bottom of Monroe. I told them to be VERY careful if they're out driving around on Saturday! Next year maybe I'll plan a visit with them to coincide with this ride.

I wish we could go but we're doing the Tour de Cure on Saturday. Another time though -- I've only been through there once but I remember it as being very beautiful. Will definitely have to keep the route map :D

Hi all...well, when you come this way, send me a PM!

You know, it is beautiful...but, don't forget there is a reason for all that GREEN.

We don't plan on sunshine (if ever) until well into July. Fourth of July is notoriously rainy. Mid-July through mid-September are the times to plan trips!
