Changed the tube that punctured.
Well, with a little help from husband and son:o
Needed a bit of strength to get the tyre back on to the wheel. Unfortunately I didn't pick up some tyre levers so we used an old-fashioned teaspoon which really was too small so found an old-fashioned tablespoon which did the trick. I knew to hold on to that spoon;) Hubby managed to puncture the new tube so we had to start all over again:rolleyes: A patch should repair the damaged tube so I'll keep it as a spare.
Anyway, one bike fully operational and ready for the road again and I managed most of it myself. First time I've ever attempted to change a tyre on a bike. I'll test ride my bike tomorrow but I think I've got the gears set back OK.
