I've just started running and so far have mostly been running in sweatpants, since most of my running has been on a treadmill, or in cool weather outside.

However, now it's getting warmer, I need something cooler to wear. I have VERY pale skin and burn in minutes. It's pretty easy to find warm weather long sleeve tops, but as far as I can tell, the only options for bottoms are short shorts (I haven't seen anything with less than a 5" inseam).

Are there there any non-shorts option for running in warmer weather - and want something light, loose and at least knee length, but preferably ankle length.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Why do you wait until so late?!? ;) (I run at 6am  ) What is that burning orb up in the sky?

Capris are an option. Or go to the thrift shop, get a pair of the nylon wind pants (unlined), cut them off to a little longer than knee length, and hem them. Then you've got knee-length shorts.
