Well, the Silvers did Day One of the Harmonie Hundred in New Harmony, Indiana. 51 miles at 17.6 avg mph - a record for us - and we stayed together the whole time! More hills that I expected and a decent turnout. Overcast, but no rain.
I have to chase Silver on the flats, but I'm strong on the hills.
New Harmony is a wonderful artsy little town on the line with Illinois. It was founded as a utopian society that failed in a few years because they didn't believe in - hmmmm, ummh - procreation! So, as they started dying...well in any event, many of the original 1840 structures are in tact and it's a pleasant place now.
