question re: Speedplay Frogs & Sidi Dominators

My Blue/Silver Sidi dominators arrived and I must say, they are things of beauty and will go great with my blue Terry bicycle. I ordered both a size 38 and a 38.5 and think that the way my feet tend to swell during long hot rides, that the 38.5 will be the way to go. I do have a couple of questions.

1. Does anyone find that the stiff piece of the top buckle that lies over the tongue and says Sidi on it kind of pokes in to your ankle like that piece might be a little too big? If so, any recommendations to solve that and make sure it doesn't cause a problem? It doesn't happen on the size 38's but they feel a bit too small in the toe box area.

2. For anyone who rides Dominators with Speedplay Frogs: Does the cleat for the frogs fit in the sole are between the lugs without any trimming? This question may only be applicable to the smaller size shoes.

I ride sidi dominators with speedplay frog pedals, albeit in a larger size than you (42s) I had to problem installing the cleats, but they did clang on the ground for a little while until they get worn down a bit. I love the combination of shoes and pedals. I didn't have the tongue problem you describe either. Be advised that half sizes in that line are wider and not longer.
