Hi all,
Really like my SSS shebeest shorts, especially on my new brooks saddle they tend to grip the leather and reduce sliding. Looking at 2007 model seems like they changed chamois and now the nose part has extra molds in it and they look like potential chaffing problems to me. Did anyone try 2007 model, can you feel the difference in chamois?
I noticed that Terry has almost exactly the same chamoise as 2006 SSS shebeest shorts. Is Terry fabric also similar? I like SSS because the material is thicker and is not bathing suit like.
Thank you,
FN

Yes!!! I bought the SSS shorts because they looked similiar to the Bellas. I got a super saddle sore in a very, ahem, delicate area from the chafing on a short, 16 mile ride. I was in pain for a week. However, after 2-3 washings they are fine; I wore them on a 30 mile ride with no issues.
I am also dismayed to find that Terry has changed the chamois on the Bellas to make them a bit thicker also in the front area. I wish I could buy the 2006 models. You might find them "slipperyer" than the SSS. I love very high lycra content shorts, so they are perfect for me.
